(c) Civil Aviation in Hong Kong

 

Cadet Project

(d) At least 25 hours and under the supervision of a

Senior Member. Submission of a report/logbook at the end of the project

 

(some suggested topics:

 

Aviation Education – Aeromodelling; Parachuting; Civilian Band Radio; Flight Simulation; Construction of Training Aids; Attachment to Local Aviation Establishments e.g. Government Flying Service, Airlines, Heliservices

 

Citizenship Training – Basic Law; functions of HKSAR Government)

 

Senior Cadet Badge

- Training objective for Leading Cadets

- To be completed in 18 months

- Courses are conducted at HQ level

 

Aviation Education

(a) – (d) 4 Advanced Aviation Education Programme

 (AAEP) subjects

 

(AAEP subjects are:

(i) Aerodynamics

(ii) Aircraft General Knowledge

(iii) Radio Communication

(iv) Navigation

(v) Meteorology

(vi) Operation, performance & planning

(vii) Flight rules & air laws in Australia

(viii) Human performance & limitation)

 

Expedition

(e) Expedition (3 days + 2 nights)/40 km
